Available position 324G0001: HR Officer

We are looking for an administrative professional with an eye for detail. As HR Officer at cosine you are the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries for around 60 employees. You support our HR Manager in all HR activities and projects. On a daily basis, you process changes in our personnel files, sick leave and recovery reports, and keep track of HRIS reports. You assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new hires, including 30% ruling and IND applications. In addition, you support the processing of the monthly payroll for our Dutch and German office. For this on site position, you will work closely together with our HR Manager and Support Team in Sassenheim. There is room to develop your role at cosine by participating in dedicated HR projects.

cosine is a Dutch company with activities and staff in Germany, Italy and Spain. We develop and build optical and in-situ measurement systems for space, air and ground use. cosine executes development projects and builds hardware for its customers, ranging from large agencies and companies to universities and startups. Lat year we celebrated our 25th anniversary.

Our international team consists of physicists, engineers, technicians and support staff. Our main office in Sassenheim houses offices, meeting rooms, cleanrooms, assembly, testing and production facilities.

Responsibilities and tasks

Recruitment

  • Assisting in the selection of candidates, organizing interviews, preparing job offers and employment agreements

Onboarding/offboarding

  • Preboard and onboard new hires in all systems, prepare onboarding schedule and monitor onboarding procedure
  • Coordinate the selection of internship candidates, liaise with their educational institutions and ensure the necessary documents are in place

HR administration

  • Process administrative changes, prepare letters and agreements and keep personnel files up to date
  • Process reports of illness and recovery and handle the administrative follow-up of the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter with our Arbodienst and insurance company
  • Submit monthly mutations for our salary administration to our external salary administrator and keep our Payroll and HR system up to date in consultation with our HR Manager and salary administrator
  • Provide support for 30% ruling and WAZO applications
  • Ensure that our internal HR policies and procedures, templates and primary and secondary employment conditions are up to date and in line with the latest changes in HR and tax rules and regulations
  • Provide input for our quarterly HR report
  • Coordinate and administer the implementation of our cosine training program
  • Support the administration of our employment related insurances and collective pension scheme

Performance review

  • Organize the implementation and administration of our annual and mid-term review procedure for all managers and employees

Qualifications and experience

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR related working experience, preferably in an international setting
  • Experience with Exact HR Online & Exact Payroll is beneficial
  • Experience with working conditions (arbo) regulations, employees working abroad and 30% ruling is beneficial

Expertise and skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with different departments
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to multitask
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is beneficial
  • Willingness to invest in your own professional development within HR
  • Dutch and English, spoken and written on a professional level
  • German, Italian, Spanish, other European languages on any level is beneficial
