Available position A22G0004: Software Engineer

We are looking for flexible and versatile Software Engineers for our remote sensing team, to work on the development and maintenance of all software related to hyperspectral imaging instruments. This includes but is not limited to test-automation and support software as well as embedded instrument control and processing code. You will work on relatively compact high-end systems in a small international team of high-level experts.

Our technology stack is Linux oriented, predominantly using C/C++ for production code and Python for experimentation and automation. Usage of Rust for future on-board application code is being considered.

cosine is at the heart of the quickly evolving new space market, at the edge of innovation. At cosine you will see projects through from start to finish, including the launch into space of the instruments developed and built in house by our remote sensing team. Some of our optical instruments are small enough to be launched on board a nanosatellite and include on-board processing electronics with state of the art software and experimental artificial intelligence hardware.

cosine is a Dutch company with branches in Germany and Italy. We develop and build optical measurement systems for space, air and ground use. Our head office in Sassenheim is located in the heart of the Randstad and houses extensive cleanroom facilities with optical, assembly, calibration and environmental testing equipment.
