cosine at School on Computer Vision for Earth Observation in Italy

cosine is sponsoring the 2nd edition of the School on Computer Vision for Earth Observation, organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Geoscience Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) and Image Analysis and Data Fusion (IADF). This event will take place from 13 September until 15 September 2023 at the University of Sannio in Benevento, Italy. Dr Marco Esposito, Managing Director of cosine Remote Sensing, will attend the event on behalf of cosine.

The primary focus of this school is the application of computer vision methods to address challenges in remote sensing. The program will feature a series of lectures on the current methods employed for analyzing satellite imagery, along with the associated challenges. Each lecture will be followed by a hands-on practical session where participants will delve deeper into the techniques discussed in the lectures, utilizing commonly used programming languages such as Python and open-source software tools. All materials related to both lectures and practical sessions will be made available to the public.

This event will take place only a few hundred meters from cosine’s new office and facilities in Benevento, Italy.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with Dr Esposito, gain insight into our latest projects, and explore potential collaborations!
