cosine rebrands its Italian branch

As part of our strategy, and following the announced expansion of our offices in Italy as well as the establishment of new collaborations with Italian partners, we have changed the name of our Italian branch from “coseno S.r.l.” to “cosine Remote Sensing S.r.l.”.

cosine has been active in Italy for the last 12 years with its subsidiary “coseno S.r.l.”. This rebranding comes with the vision of reinforcing the corporate spirit we want all cosine’s organizations in Europe to be powered with.

Providing remote sensing solutions is one of the important pillars of cosine. This is reflected in our vision, in our projects, and in the optical instruments for space and non-space applications we have been developing for 25 years.

cosine founded its Italian subsidiary in 2011 to engage with the Italian ecosystem, including small and large space companies, the Italian Space Agency and the research organizations distributed along the Italian territory. Our goal being to strengthen our European footprint, to increase the accessibility of our brand, and last but not least to benefit from the Italian industrial skills.

cosine aims to focus on the production of optical imagers in Italy. This is due to the increasing market demand for the cosine remote sensing solutions. Implementing a manufacturing approach with a geographical delocalization in Italy creates a blend between cosine’s technology, culture and skills and the Italian stylishness and practicality, which we expect will maintain the quality of our products while shortening the production cycle.

Our Italian facilities are located in the heart of Benevento.
