SPO X-ray optics insights presented at SPIE photomask technology & EUV lithography

cosine will attend and deliver a presentation at the upcoming SPIE photomask technology and extreme ultraviolet lithography event, taking place 1-5 October 2023 in Monterey, California. We invite you to join us on 2 October, from 18:00 to 19:30, at the Monterey Marriott, San Carlos Ballroom for the presentation titled “High-Resolution Silicon Pore X-ray Optics” by Dr. Boris Landgraf.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet and engage with our team at booth 201, and gain insights into our high-energy optics products and capabilities!

Silicon Pore Optics is a groundbreaking technology invented and produced by cosine in cooperation with ESA. It involves bonding and stacking multiple silicon wafers, creating a novel type of lightweight X-ray lens. cosine’s High Energy Optics business unit is internationally known for the development and application of X-ray optics and systems. We leverage our knowledge of semiconductor processes, silicon, glass, and mass production to create and manufacture lightweight, high-resolution X-ray optics. These optics find applications ranging from space-based astrophysical telescopes to medical, semiconductor, and material analysis systems used by industry and academia.

This event serves as the foremost global technical gathering for photomasks, patterning, metrology, materials, inspection/repair, mask business, extreme ultraviolet lithography, and emerging technologies. Its primary objective is to bring together researchers, educators, and industry to advance light-based research and technologies to the benefit of humanity. Annually, the SPIE community organizes approximately 25 major technical forums, exhibitions, and education programs in North America, Europe, Asia, and the South Pacific, attracting more than 35,000 scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs who showcase the latest innovations across a wide range of technologies.

cosine’s presence at this event provides an excellent opportunity to meet and discuss with industry partners, offering our resources to collaborate, exchange spontaneous ideas, and expand your capabilities.
